Saturday, January 24. 2009 Paul Masson Golden Cream SherryPosted by Running Chick in Food and DrinkComments (0) | Trackbacks (0)
Inspired by Dr. Frasier Crane, we decided to branch out from our usual wine selections and try sherry. Smooth and warm with a hint of vanilla, caramel and pear and 18% alcohol by volume. It's strictly for sipping (as opposed to Jim Beam bourbon which I typically just bash back). At $7.00/bottle it's pretty cheap. Although we'll never know if it's the Boone's Farm of sherrys until we try some of higher quality. You must drink sherry out of fancy sherry glasses to acquire the appropriate snootiness factor. Good thing I inherited such snooty glassware from my grandma.
